ACDSEE 7 image acquisition problem

I like ACDSEE 7.0 but I have recently had trouble with two differenct CF cards when acquiring images. The software does not load all the images, only about 70% of the images.

When I try Picasa 2 to attempt to acquire the images, I get them all.

I like both packages, but at least for the time being until I can figure out what is going on with ACDSEE 7.0 I will rely on Picasa 2 for image acquisition through my card reader.

THE ANSWER is completely different. I have no idea why this happened. The work around is not to use either package, just click and drag the images from the window for the CF card to the destination folder (WIN XP on my machine).
