Having been putting a camera up to my eye or my eyeglasses since the 60s I now spend time looking around on the web to find photography and photographic information that delights my appetite for the result of careful viewing of the planet and its inhabitants. And man, is that a load of fun.

last friday a trip to Toronto by moi got cut short in the photo way when my Sony H50 battery conked.

2x dumb cuz I have two Sony batteries and brought just one and did not top up the juice in the one. grrrr

hiatus over

I am picking up this blog where I left off.  A new camera joined me, a Sony H50, nice long zoom and nicely sculpted.  My one difficulty is I need more quality time with the manual. I have no idea how to manually open the flash head. Sigh.  Other than that it works well.
