About "Choice Photography "William J. Gibson was born in a small town in southern Ontario in 1953. He has lived mainly in Toronto but now is sitting on the shores of Georgian Bay, 100 miles north of that city. He started out with 127 film Kodak cameras and added 35mm and 120 film cameras to his shelf. He currently uses a Pentax K10D and Sony H50 for general everyday work along with a host of vintage and classic film cameras. His photographic subjects range from landscape, documentary, portraiture, to his dog, Grace. Gibson has worked for a long time as a technical writer and late at night he scribbles poetry, some of it to do with the idea and practice of photography. |
