I have begun or more accurately resumed taking photos of houses and other buildings in my local area, small town Ontario. There is a lot of 100 year old houses to choose from. Different styles, some very simple. some more elaborate, lots of Victorian gingerbread details, some have have "grown" over the years with a series of add-ons.
This example is in Midland, Ontario. It seems to be similar to the housing built for company workers in Victoria Harbour when it was a one company town roughly during the 1900-1927 period. In Midland there was lumber mills, foundries, and ship construction, all of that gone now.
